About 'Kung Pow: Enter the Fist'

“Kung Pow: Enter the Fist” is a comedic parody of martial arts films released in 2002. The plot revolves around the hero “Chosen One” who seeks revenge for the death of his parents, who were murdered by a sinister warrior named Master Pain. The film combines new material with adaptations of scenes from the 1976 kung fu film “Tiger and Crane Fists”.

The plot follows the absurd adventures of the “Chosen One” as he fights Master Pain on an epic journey and meets a variety of eccentric characters along the way. One of the most outstanding ideas is the integration of the protagonist into the original scenes of the old film through computer technology. Thus, the “Chosen One” interacts with characters from the original recording, which leads to absurd and humorous moments.

The film is characterised by its whimsical humour and surreal scenes. One example is the kung-fu fight against a cow in which the “Chosen One” is attacked by the animal’s horns. Another crazy scene is the confrontation with a master who has a “tongue of fury” with which he attacks his opponents. Such quirky concepts and exaggerated fight scenes are typical of the film and give it its unique character.

“Kung Pow: Enter the Fist” is a daring mix of absurd comedy, parody and slapstick fight scenes. The plot, which deliberately alludes to stereotypes and clichés from martial arts films, is lightened up by whimsical ideas and exaggerated performances. The film is a homage to the genre and at the same time a humorous exaggeration of its characteristic elements, which makes it an unconventional and entertaining film experience.

Random movie quote of 'Kung Pow: Enter the Fist'

Killing is wrong. And bad. There should be a new, stronger word for killing. Like badwrong, or badong. Yes, killing is badong. From this moment, I will stand for the opposite of killing: gnodab.
