What happens when you mix the 80s classics “Caddyshack” and “Gremlins” in a Wild Eye Releasing production? “Caddy Hack” is a 2023 US horror-comedy-thriller movie directed by Anthony Catanese. The movie is about a golf course that is in financial trouble and is plagued by a series of caddy murders. The murders are committed by pesticide-mutated rodents, while the greedy owner of the course tries to cover up the carnage. A maniacal groundskeeper wages war on the rodents and tries to exterminate them.
The movie is a mixture of horror and comedy and offers some absurd scenes. The movie is also full of downright ridiculous, cheap CGI effects that really turn up the trash factor. But the eyes of the gophers shine in beautiful colours as if they were on an ecstasy trip from out of space.
